Makayla Couture x Flaunt It Studio Collaboration

Calling all GTA-Based Grade 12 Students!

Unable to afford your DREAM PROM Makeover? Apply for this PROM SCHOLARSHIP/CONTEST today, sponsored by Makayla Couture (administered by Flaunt It Movement)!

One lucky winner will attend a PROM MAKEOVER TRIP and receive up to $500 to cover expenses such as makeup, shoes, accessories, dress, transportation, hair, and nails!

  • Identify as 2SLGBTQ+ BIPOC woman, femme or gender-diverse

  • Be a Grade 12 or Prom-Attending Student in the Greater Toronto Area

  • Priority will be given to youth residing in the Jane & Finch community!

  • Must be a student who expresses a clear (economic, social, cultural) need

  • Must have a PROM DATE on: May 22 or 29, 2025

  • Must be comfortable on camera

  • Must get parent/guardian consent if chosen and not over 18 years old

  • Must be available on a date (TBA) before prom to join Makayla on a shopping trip!

  • Apply through our GOOGLE FORM (to be released) where you can submit written responses or a VIDEO RESPONSE.

  • It’s completely normal to feel nervous about applying! We’re encouraging you to be proud of your journey and trust in your potential. The form will reviewed in a private, safe, non-judgmental space with the scholarship team.

    Makayla looked to performing and modelling as her way to express herself in her full drag identity. She never got a Prom, and wants to take this opportunity to give back to her community in Jane-Finch.
